Randall H. Miller (aka “The Candidate”)
Since: May of 1971
Where: Born in Ohio but grew up in North Andover, Massachusetts.
Experience: Was a U.S. Army Officer (2nd Infantry in South Korea, then 82nd Airborne) and Salesman (pharmaceuticals and then high-tech commodities). Even worked a little on the side with a pro-”rasslin’” company. Now I’m an Educator, Writer (took a stab at writing and self-published a novel in 2004, The Xpatriot), and now Political Blogger.
I do all of this in Santo Domingo, the Capital city of the Dominican Republic.
Education: Master of Arts in Diplomacy (concentration in International Terrorism), Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, both from Norwich University.
Political affiliation: Unenrolled. I started out a registered Democrat in 1989, then jumped to the Republican Party, eventually became a proud Libertarian and, most recently, joined the ranks of the “unenrolled” (that’s what Massachusetts calls its independent voters).
Hobbies: All things political, movies, music, reading, learning, writing, teaching, relaxing with family and friends, blogging, and more.
Member of Masonic Lodge (since 1992), the American Legion, the American Political Science Association, and the Skeptics Society.
